White Soda Feldspar

Feldspars and pegmatites are useful functional fillers in the paint and glue industries, as well as fluxing agents in ceramics and glass manufacture.

Feldspar’s physical properties include high potassium and low iron content. It has pH stability and has consistent hardness with a rating of 6 to 6.5 on the Mohs scale. It is majorly found and mined in the state of Rajasthan.

The alumina from feldspar improves the hardness, durability, and chemical corrosion resistance of glass. Feldspar's alkalis (calcium oxide, potassium oxide, and sodium oxide) operate as a flux in ceramics, reducing the melting temperature of a mixture.
